The direction of our new project and goals for ” Exposing Discrimnation” –>
Support for the issue of the discrimination of Socially underprivileged North Korea women defectors through customized experts and activists training program, ‘Exposing Discrimination ”
This project’s objective has mainly two that we want to reach.
This project, “Exposing Discrimination” wlll raise these issues and bring them up to the surface through the content which reveals various forms of discrimination that North Korea women defectors face in society. For the basis of this work we will gather experts together in the areas of Human Rights groups and parties, and hold a “Focus Group” workshop to share the conditions and awareness of the onsite of “Exposing Discrimination”. Through the investigation results in relation to many defectors, North Korean woman, have been have been pointed out and faced the dual discrimination through the words, “Women” and “Defector”, and cultural discrimination indirectly or directly but, the parties’ response to these unjustifiable discrimination is barely covered from specific types of each of its aspects and its frequency.
The “Exposing Discrimination ‘ business will not hold a welfare point of view of the existing support of refugees but will go on to open new horizons by introducing North Korean women defector’s human rights in a human rights view point which we can say is the first attempt in society. Through the Parties, groups and related experts of the ” Focus Groups” workshops, we want to bring about the necessary tasks to ” Exposing Discrimination” in society.
We want to carry out the ‘Helpers of Discrimination’ Training Program to provide professional support for the ‘Exposing discrimination. Through the ” Eyes of a Women”, in the dimensions of Human rights of North Korean women defector, the work of the Exposing Discrimination will not only include the discrimination and women’s humans rights, comprehensive understanding of North Korean women defectors, or areas where expertise from specialist is required but also bring results in area’s of needed proceeds of continuous consultations within mutual trusting relationships. Thus, through the training program it is of the upmost priority to train activists that can become “Helpers’ of Discrimination” that are interested in North Korean women defector discrimination issues and act from their gleaned expertise. Another goal of this project, is to have the participation together with North Korean women together for Helpers of Women education, providing them with an opportunity for Human rights as well as offer some kind of growth in society.
There are two business goals.
The first is to proceed with four sessions of structured FGI focus group workshops through the ‘Discrimination against North Korean women defectors” parties and experts.
Second is to conduct 40hours of “Discrimination Helpers Training Program”, to ensure the professionalism of human rights of North korea women defector’s life overall comprehension and discrimination, “Exposing”, “Coping” and ensuring contact support.
The project period is from March 21, 2016 until October 15.
The place of business is located in the Hongdae Catholic Youth lecture hall.
May 17 2011– The beginnings and formation of the North and South Korean Choir–
Finally the North and South Korean Choir has gotten well packed!
During the last month, trying to find a place for the choir and trying to organizing the unit, Yeoinjisa has been very busy. In addition, in April 14th at Hyehwa-dong Anglican-Catholic church we had our first gathering at two o’clock in the afternoon.
여인지사 남북여성합창단은 남북여성 각 각 15명씩 30명으로 구성되었습니다. 지휘자는 권오준 선생님, 반주자는 김연수 선생님이십니다. (지휘자, 반주자는 숨엔터테인먼트에서 함께 섭외해 주셨습니다.)
합창 단원 모집은 여인지사가 출범하면서 개최했던 제주 남북여성기획회의에 참여하셨던 분들이 정말 많은 힘을 실어 주셨습니다. 현재 남북여성합창단 단원들은 연령대와 직업이 매우 다양한 분들로 구성되어 여러 측면에서 매우 재밌고 흥미로운 시간들이 될 것 같습니다. 앞으로의 시간이 정말 기대됩니다.^^
아, 그리고 지난 14일 첫 오디션 모임에는 정현백 여인지사 이사님께서 참여해 주시고 맛있는 간식도 사 주셨습니다. 감사했습니다.^^
